1. Nasi Lemak
Nasi lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and "pandan" leaf. we can eat this kind of nasi with Sambal Ikan Bilis( some chilies mix with other ingredient such as anchovies,onion and so on) cucumber,boiled-egg , Chicken or meat rendang or anything you like. Nasi Lemak is so famous in Malaysia, everyone will know if you asking for Nasi Lemak when you go to eat this rice at any restaurant, you can eat this rice anytime you want whether breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
2. Nasi Kerabu
Nasi kerabu is a Malay rice dish, a type of nasi ulam, in which blue-coloured rice is eaten with dried fish or fried chicken, crackers, pickles and other salads. The blue color of rice resulting from the petals of Clitoria ternatea (butterfly-pea) flowers(kembang telang) used in cooking it.The rice can also be cooked with plain white rice or rice cooked using turmeric. It is often eaten with solok lada and is also eaten with fried keropok. Nasi kerabu is very popular in the east coast states of Malaya such as Kelantan and Terengganu. Some of people dislike to put Budu ( special ingredient from Kelantan) into their rice because they dislike with the smell of budu. if someone ask me do you like budu? my answer will be yes because without Budu the taste of Nasi Kerabu is totally something wrong..
3. Nasi Dagang
Nasi dagang is a Malaysian and Southern Thai dish consisting of rice steamed in coconut milk, fish curry and extra ingredients such as fried shaved coconut, hard-boiled eggs and vegetable pickles. Nasi Dagang literally means "Trading Rice". It is a well-known breakfast food in the states on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, such as Terengganu and Kelantan and Southern Thailand territory of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. The most famous Nasi dagang of Terengganu comes from Kampung Ladang, an area within the Kuala Terengganu district. Nasi Dagang can also be considered as a festive dish in Kelantan and Terengganu because it is prepared at home for the morning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, to be eaten as a breakfast before or after the Eid prayers in the mosque but you also can eat nasi dagang anytime and anywhere.As you know The taste of this rice is so delicious either this rice look simple and i pretty like it hehehe.
Nasi Minyak actually made from Basmathi Rice cooked with all kind of spice .Actually, we can found this rice when people in malaysia make some event such as marriage, feast and so on ( look for the malaysian culture ). my comment for this rice is delicious, we can tasted the spice and the aroma also good.
5. Nasi Ayam ( Chicken Rice )
Actually this kind of rice is originated from Chinese. but now you can see it everywhere in Malaysia. sometimes when you want to eat this Nasi Ayam you can choose the type of chicken either it is being fried, boiled or grilled chicken. i like to eat Chicken Rice because of its aroma and taste. actually it is easy to made this dishes because you don't need to put too many ingredient and the you also can find the ingredient in the market.
6. Nasi Campur ( Mixed Rice)
What kind of rice is this?? actually there is no exact rule to make this kind of rice because you can mixed this rice with other 'LAUK' or dishes as you can see in the picture.
